LEADERSHIP

We are led by a deeply committed Board of Directors that includes two founders: Stacey Bucci and Andrea Shaffer, plus Dr. Timothy Lynch. We receive advice and guidance from an independent Board of Advisors. 

ANDREA SHAFFER

Andrea Shaffer serves as President, Chair, and Secretary of Liberty Legal Foundation. She is a career corporate management professional who has spearheaded initiatives aimed at seamlessly integrating acquired entities into existing organizational frameworks, all while fostering environments conducive to innovation and adaptability. Andrea is also an independent journalist, Beef Initiative Associate Editor, and has reporting featured in the Brownstone Institute, Daily Wire, CHD, Liberty Sentinel, and other publications covering current day topics of major interest. Andrea’s educational background includes a graduate degree in Organizational Development and Employment Labor Law.

STACEY BUCCI

Stacey Bucci serves as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of Liberty Legal Foundation. She is an accomplished attorney with experience in administrative law, property law, business law, and civil litigation. Stacey is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, New York, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, United States District Court for the Northern District of New York, and United States Court of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits.

TIMOTHY LYNCH, MD

Dr. Timothy Lynch is a board certified neurologist with advanced training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. He is an associate professor at Albany Medical College and primarily treats patients with epilepsy. He is the Program Director of both the Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Programs at Albany Medical College as well. Dr. Lynch is deeply committed to the principles of liberty, freedom, and the rule of law. He hosts a podcast called The Daily Noose which can be seen on both YouTube and Rumble; a conservative based podcast with strong, but funny, opinions.

JUDITH TRUMBLE

Judith Trumble serves as Treasurer of Liberty Legal Foundation. Judith is an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) and experienced nonprofit leader committed to sound financial stewardship, organizational accountability, and mission-driven service. Her background in tax preparation and nonprofit administration includes financial recordkeeping, compliance, budgeting, and responsible management of charitable resources.

In nonprofit leadership roles as a director and treasurer, Judith has supported effective governance, accurate financial reporting, budget development, and transparent oversight for boards, donors, and communities. She views careful financial management as essential to public trust and an organization’s ability to fulfill its mission.

As an IRS Enrolled Agent, Judith assists clients with discretion, precision, and a clear understanding of tax requirements. She helps individuals and organizations organize financial information, meet filing obligations, and make informed decisions. Known for her reliability and attention to detail, Judith combines technical financial skills with a steadfast commitment to integrity, accountability, and service.

BOARD OF ADVISORS

RONALD D. COLEMAN

Ronald D. Coleman is a commercial litigator focusing on free speech and reputational torts. He was lead counsel for Simon Tam in Matal v. Tam, the case which led to the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark First Amendment decision in Matal v. Tam. He is also a leader among lawyers in social media, having authored one of the leading blogs on intellectual property for over 15 years and now prominent as a podcaster and legal commentator.  Admitted in every federal circuit court, Ron practices primarily in New York and New Jersey but has appeared in trial and appellate courts throughout the country.

OTHER ADVISORS INCLUDE

- A seasoned attorney and business executive with more than forty years of experience in private practice, federal government service, and entrepreneurial ventures. He has led high‑stakes, multi‑million‑dollar litigation and complex financial investigations, including matters involving major financial institutions, global corporations, and catastrophic bank failures. A former Senior Executive Service official at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and founding partner of a $17 million emergency management simulation company, he brings combined legal, accounting, and corporate expertise to sensitive, high‑risk engagements. Christopher holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of America and a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Liberty Legal Foundation is seeking experienced advisors to help guide its work advancing the rule of law, due process, and equal protection.

The Foundation is expanding its Board of Advisors of attorneys, scholars, policy professionals, election administrators, cybersecurity and data experts, civic leaders, and other professionals who can provide informed, independent perspective on matters affecting constitutional governance, civil rights, election administration, and public confidence in lawful institutions.

Advisors will be asked to:

  • Participate in quarterly advisory meetings, generally held remotely
  • Provide occasional input by email between meetings
  • Review and comment on selected legal, policy, research, or public-education initiatives
  • Identify emerging issues, relevant expertise, and potential partnerships
  • Offer strategic guidance while respecting the Foundation’s independence and mission

This is a volunteer, advisory position. Advisors will not be expected to manage operations, fundraise, litigate, or speak publicly on behalf of the Foundation unless separately agreed.

Liberty Legal Foundation welcomes interest from individuals with experience in:

  • Constitutional law and civil-rights litigation
  • Election law, election administration, and voter-registration systems
  • Appellate advocacy and legal scholarship
  • Government transparency, records retention, and public accountability
  • Cybersecurity, data governance, and election-system integrity
  • Public policy, civic education, and nonprofit governance
  • Community leadership and grassroots civic engagement

Diverse professional viewpoints and practical experience are encouraged. The Foundation seeks advisors committed to careful analysis, civil discourse, and equal application of the law.

Time commitment

  • Quarterly meetings: Approximately 45 minutes each
  • Periodic email communications: Limited review and feedback as issues arise
  • Term: One-year renewable advisory term
